On Friday I paid my first visit to the beautiful Garden Museum in Lambeth, which is situated just off Westminster Bridge in an old converted Church. It's beautiful! There are about 5 main displays, including paintings of various London gardens, botanical illustrations of fruits, a brief history of British gardening told partly through gnomes, and then a lovely internal garden courtyard. There is also a restaurant / cafe, and of course the gift shop!
I dropped off my patches and look forward to returning when they are on display in the shop, and also to pick up a few goodies for myself! It seems like a lovely spot to visit with anyone who would like some peace and quiet in the middle of central London.
Have a super day :).
